Azza Winter Camp | New York | December 26-30, 2026

Five days of sabre with Olympians and World Champions, in New York.

The Azza Winter Camp is a women's sabre camp that brings together an elite coaching staff and a small group of motivated fencers for five days of high-intensity training between Christmas and New Year, at the Fencing Academy of Westchester (Hawthorne, NY). Two sessions a day, private lessons on request, and the chance to train alongside the athletes who are shaping the sport right now.

Who it is for: women sabre fencers from Y12 to Senior, all competitive levels. Groups are organized by age and level on the first morning.

Early bird: $999 until October 31, 2026. $1,199 from November 1.

Places are limited. Pre-register on this page: nothing is charged here. Within a few minutes, you receive the camp fee due and your payment instructions by email, and your place is held for 72 hours from that email (see "How to register and pay" below).

December 26 to 30, 2026, five training days.

Two group sessions every day: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Private lessons take place before, between and after the group sessions.

Check-in on December 26 at 9:00 AM at the Fencing Academy of Westchester. The detailed schedule (groups by age and level, lesson slots) is handed out on the first morning of the camp.

Included: 10 group training sessions (about 25 hours on the piste), coaching by the full staff, sparring with the special guests, the official camp t-shirt.

Optional: private lessons (2 for $160, 4 for $300) and the on-site lunch for the five days ($125), to select when you pre-register.

Not included: fencing equipment (bring your complete sabre kit, electric jacket, mask and weapons), accommodation and travel.

Reserved for camp participants: one pair of AZZA Master (your colorway and size), one pair of Fencing Socks, one pair of Crew Socks of your choice, the shoe cleaner and the Azza towel. $170 instead of $274, paid by card on this site.

No shipping fee: all packages are shipped together to the camp venue and handed over on the first morning of the camp.

1. Pre-register here. Choose your options, fill in the fencer information and click "Pre-register now". You will be asked for the parent's email and phone: this is where all camp communications will be sent. Nothing is charged on this site.

2. You receive your payment instructions. Within a few minutes, you receive an email with the camp fee due, the payment instructions, plus the link to order the Azza Camp Package if you wish.

3. Pay within 72 hours of receiving that email. Mention your registration number and the fencer's name with your payment.

4. You are in. As soon as the payment is received, you get the final confirmation email with all practical information. Places not paid within 72 hours are released.

Cancellation by the participant

Full refund of the camp fee for cancellations received by October 31, 2026. 50% refund for cancellations received between November 1 and November 30, 2026. No refund from December 1, 2026. With a medical certificate, the amount paid is converted into a credit for a future Azza Camp.

Private lessons and the on-site lunch follow the same rules. The Azza Camp Package is refundable until December 10, 2026 (package order deadline).

Cancellation by the organizers

If the camp is cancelled by the organizers, all amounts paid are refunded in full. Travel and accommodation costs are not covered.

Participation

The camp is open to sabre fencers from Y12 to Senior in good health and covered by a valid fencing federation membership and insurance. Participants must bring their complete equipment. A liability waiver will be sent to registered families before the camp and must be signed before the first session.
